Safety at Tinted.

Our world has been toppled more than once in the past years.  It has highlighted the need for safety and hygiene everywhere.    As we gear up to reopen after the longest government mandated closure to date, we’ve put our focus and efforts on safety in our salon environment.  Everyone’s safety is our top priority and we understand the effect it can have on both your physical and mental health.  At Tinted., we care about not only your nails, lashes and brows, but also keeping you, us, and our community, safe.

Rapid Antigen Tests

With the current climate, it is vital to know if those in close contact with you are safe and virus free. During this heightened period, Tinted. Artists take an antigen test regularly for everyone’s safety and peace of mind.

Covid Measures

There are some practices that are required across Hong Kong - wearing a mask, sanitizing hands upon entry of establishments, vaccine pass, social distancing and temperature check. We assure that these are checked and completed swiftly upon entry to Tinted. to avoid any inconvenience for you.

Clean Air and Clean Surfaces

Though we require all patrons to keep their masks on for the entire duration of their visit, it’s still possible for vapors and particles to be dispersed in the air and land on surfaces we touch.  We have implemented a misting disinfectant machine to spray each area and surface after every session.  This practice is for all our services.  A constantly running hospital grade air purifier acts as another layer of protection.

Tools

All of our tools are regularly cleaned with alcohol, soaked in an antiseptic solution specially designed for salon use which kills bacteria, viruses and spores, and put into a UV sterilizer. Additionally, personal nail files and foot files are available for purchase and for your own personal use every time you visit us.

Waterless Services

For manicures and pedicures, we do not soak your hands and feet to avoid cross contamination between clients and so that your hands and feet don’t come into contact with harsh chemicals used for sanitizing the tubs.

For pedicures, we wipe down your feet with single use towels soaked in warm water and eucalyptus to sanitize and refresh tired feet. We provide alcohol wipes for your phone to avoid contamination after washing your hands.

Standard measures

As always, we require temperature checks upon entry, masks to be on for the entire duration of your visit, hand washing before all services, and contactless check out.

We officially opened at the start of the pandemic, so our high standards of cleanliness were born out of these uncertain times.  As we continue to provide the highest level of care, service, and artistry to our clients, we can be certain of one thing – that we will continue to adapt and evolve to keep you, us, and our entire community, safe.
